Metal On My Teeth (8 Months Later)

 |

Unlike the usual dental appointments to tighten my braces, today's appointment consists of doing an X-ray to see if the roots of my teeth are clashing with each other.

Here's a comparison of a two X-rays - one taken before I had orthodontic treatment, and the other - after I had orthodontic treatment.

On 28th SEPTEMBER 2010:

On 24th MAY 2011:

You can see from the latest X-ray above, that there are lesser teeth with some gaps in between. But generally, it's obvious that the teeth are much straighter and less crowded. However, the 2 teeth roots that are circle in red (see above) are pretty close to each other. So Dr Quah had to re-position the bracket on my teeth so as to facilitate the movement of teeth roots away from each other.

Regardless, isn't it amazing what 8 months of orthodontic treatment can do?

Truly, beauty is an investment with visible returns!

On another note, I've been receiving several emails from some readers concerning my orthodontic treatment with Dr Joanne Quah at Ubi Dental Clinic.

For those whom I've replied but are still sitting on the fence, hesitate no longer! I cannot stress enough on how gentle and sensitive Dr Quah is with her treatment. She has indeed made my orthodontic journey a pleasant, enjoyable, and pain-less one.

For those whom I've replied and have already booked your appointments with Dr Quah, thank you for trusting in my recommendation. I wish you well in your orthodontic journey as well. Thank you!
